We provide high quality measurement solutions and machine automation to civil/construction and surveying firms to improve productivity, efficiency and margins.

 

About the job

We are looking for a motivated Technical Sales Representative to support and grow our presence in heavy and building construction across the Edmonton and Northern Alberta. This is a field-based sales role offering autonomy, strong onboarding, and continuous learning without the monotony of a traditional office job.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with contractors, engineers, and project teams
  • Present cutting-edge construction technology solutions
  • Manage your own territory and build lasting client relationships
  • Seek out, identify, and target potential customers
  • Visit existing and prospective clients; analyze their needs; promote company products and services; and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Translate technical construction and surveying solutions into clear business value and ROI for customers
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through negotiation, closing and handoff of operations
  • Conduct on-site visits, product demonstrations, and solution presentations tailored to customer needs
  • Prepare and send quotes to customers
  • Provide after-sales service and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Respond effectively to client requests and complete required administrative follow-ups
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to strengthen brand presence

What we are looking for

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in technical sales representation and business development
  • Solid knowledge of heavy construction and building construction
  • Experience with GPS/GNSS, Total Stations, and/or Machine Control technologies
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Curiosity and interest in learning and promoting technology-based solutions
  • Proven negotiation skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Unrestricted valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel within the territory with variable schedules
  • Education on Geomatics and Surveying considered an asset

 

Pay Range: $60,000 base pay + commission on sales.
